The Bosnian pyramids are steadily gaining popularity, and Visoko has become a well-known destination for many retreat providers. However, our training is more than a retreat. Yes, you step away from your daily life and the powerful energy of the pyramids naturally supports your spiritual growth, but during this journey you will experience far more than the transformative energy of Visoko itself.
In addition to the profound influence of the pyramids and the Ravne tunnels, you will also receive a complete Earthkeepers training.
Each day we immerse ourselves in shamanic rituals, connect with the cosmos and Mother Earth, attune to the energies of nature and learn how to work from deep alignment to raise the frequency of natural places.
Who is Joy?
A brief introduction:
I am a Shamanic practitioner and Earthkeeper.
As a Shamanic practitioner, I focus on healing my own energetic field, supporting the healing of others and sharing the ancient wisdom of the Q’ero tradition from the Inca era in Peru.
As a keeper of the Earth, I use these techniques to create a deep connection with both cosmic and earthly energies. From this place of alignment, I become an instrument to support Mother Earth in raising her frequency.
This has an effect on all living beings who inhabit her.

What can you expect on this Earthkeepers journey?
You will learn how to connect your huaca (sacred power spot) with those of other Earthkeepers, allowing you to contribute to a larger energetic network that supports the raising of Earth’s vibration. You will receive ancient knowledge that you can apply once you return home, enabling you to create your own huacas to strengthen your environment and support Mother Earth. Throughout the week you will be guided step by step, gradually discovering how your senses become more finely attuned to the energies around you.
In addition, you will receive practical exercises to help you keep your energy high once you are back home and to deepen your attunement to the energies of the cosmos and the Earth. Whether you already have experience with energy work or are taking your first steps on this path, all participants have profound experiences, and the training often initiates a transformation that continues long after the journey ends.
With a small group, under the guidance of Joy, an experienced Shamanic practitioner and Earthkeeper, we will devote six days to energetic processes that support both ourselves and Mother Earth.
We work with the foundational principles of Earthkeeper energy work through shamanic rituals and ceremonies. These practices help cleanse and heal our personal energy field, deepen our connection with Mother Earth and allow us to contribute to her healing and the wellbeing of all her inhabitants.
We learn how to connect our bodies and energy deeply with the Earth and the cosmos, increasing our vitality. We also learn how to cleanse energetic pollution within ourselves and others. Experience shows that this training continues to resonate long after the journey is over.
Practical information
Travel dates and transportation
Our retreat to the pyramids of Visoko takes place from:
Monday the 30th of August to Saturday the 4th of September 2027
The retreat starts on Monday at 13:00 and ends on Saturday at 20:00.
On Sunday 3 May you can take your time beginning your journey home.
The Journey
You are responsible for arranging your own travel to and from the retreat location.
If you plan to travel by plane, we recommend arriving on Sunday, as most flights arrive late on Monday and you would miss the start of the programme.
The additional cost for an extra night, including dinner and breakfast, is €40.
A transfer to and from Sarajevo Airport can easily be arranged on-site by taxi and will cost around €30, depending on the driver.
Your own car in Bosnia
Of course, you are welcome to travel by car. The journey to Bosnia can comfortably be done in three days, and you will drive through some stunning parts of Europe.
Renting a car in Bosnia is very affordable, and it is convenient to have a car available for excursions and free time.
We do recommend renting from a major rental company (Sixt, Avis, etc.). Cars can easily be picked up at the airport.

For this training, we work with a variable contribution. We do this based on the understanding that everyone’s financial situation is different.
We believe that personal development should be accessible to everyone. At the same time, we also have our fixed expenses.
We guide this training with great attention, care, and dedication. To us, this work is valuable and meaningful, and we believe it is important that there is a fair exchange in return, in a way that feels right for everyone.
We invite you to choose an amount that aligns with your means and the value you wish to give to this program. If you have the financial capacity to choose a higher amount, you contribute to enabling someone else to participate at a lower rate.

Important to know
We have only six beds available in the dormitory. Once these are fully booked, we will let you know right away. You can then choose to stay in your own tent or camper on our grounds, or arrange accommodation elsewhere in the area.

Excursions
Most excursions during our retreat are free of charge. For the Ravne Tunnels and the Orgon Chamber you will need an entrance ticket, which costs between €2.50 and €15.

Minimum number of participants
MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 8
The retreat will only take place if the minimum number of participants is reached.
There are 6 sleeping places available at our location (priority is given to the first registrations).
Physical and mental resilience
The energy sites in Bosnia require calm, focus and stability. The landscape itself has uneven paths and fewer flat streets. For this reason it is important that you can walk independently, with a rollator if needed, and that you are physically able to take part in the excursions and walks.
We also expect participants to be mentally stable and to feel comfortable within a spiritual setting.
During the retreat we aim to stay as much as possible in our own bubble. There are no other guests staying at our location, so we have the space entirely to ourselves. This allows everyone to have room for their own processes, to support each other when needed and to give space when desired.
When we visit energy sites outside our location, we may encounter other visitors. After all, we are not the only ones drawn to the powerful energy of Visoko. The Ravne tunnels, in particular, are often busy and have become both a tourist attraction and a pilgrimage site. In April and May the crowds are generally manageable.
Even though we choose the most suitable times to visit the tunnels and enjoy the small shops selling gemstones, local herbs and delicious Bosnian cake, some people may find the sensory stimuli of these places challenging.
The mosques and the sound of stray dogs can also be experienced as intense by some. But this too is part of the authentic Bosnia experience.
Passport
To enter Bosnia, you need a valid passport that is still valid for at least 3 months after your departure from the country!
Food and drinks
This journey includes 4 lunches and 4 dinners for all participants. We will provide freshly prepared, healthy, vegetarian meals.
Because we source our ingredients locally as much as possible, we work with what is available during that season. We also choose lighter meals, as these support the energetic practices more effectively.
Since the programme also includes free time and we regularly visit the Ravne tunnels, where there are excellent restaurants, we will eat out a few times as well. You can make this as affordable or as luxurious as you like. Life in Bosnia is very budget-friendly: a good meal in a restaurant costs around €12.
If you are staying at our location, we will provide the ingredients needed for breakfast.
After meals, we clean up together, that way it’s quickly done and we can continue with the programme.
Insurance
All participants are required, and personally responsible, to arrange their own travel and/or cancellation insurance.
Assistance dog Pika
On all our journeys, the team is accompanied by Daphne’s service-dog-in-training: Pika.
She is a big, friendly sweetheart who is undergoing thorough training, although, as you may expect from a young dog, she can sometimes be a bit enthusiastic. Of course, she remains well under control at all times.
What to bring
Shamanic rattle (or shaker egg), bottle of Florida Water, power object, thermos, tea, rain gear and layered clothing.
For Mesa carriers, it is important to bring your Mesa.
